![]() The screen will turn black and instead of going to the next boot screen, you’ll see it show the Maintenance Boot Mode for the Galaxy S7. You’ll feel the device vibrate(at least mine did) when it gets to the first Samsung boot screen and you’ll want to keep holding down these two buttons. Wait until the device is completely shut off and then you’ll want to press and hold the Power button and the Volume Down button at the same time. So, first you will need to power down the Galaxy S7. If this doesn’t work for you then let me know in the comments section below and I’ll look around to see if there is another way to get into the Maintenance Boot Mode for the Galaxy S7. I own the Verizon variant and while this feature doesn’t seem to be special to Verizon Wireless only, it’s certainly possible that they added it into the software for their phones. Technically, this special boot mode might not be present on all versions of the Galaxy S7.
